Dragon Ball FighterZ Closed Beta Delayed

Despite a previous announcement at EVO 2017 that would have seen the closed beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ beginning today, there has been a slight delay to these proceedings, it has been announced. Bandai Namco has stated that due to the positive feedback and reaction that has led to plentiful anticipation for this title, they have decided to focus work on their background systems to ensure the beta will be able to handle the high volume of sign-ups. This will see the closed beta sign-up date pushed back to 22nd August, 2017.

The sign-ups will now take place in August, for the beta which will occur on the 16th and 17th September. The first two sessions will take place from 10am to 1pm and then 6pm until 9pm on the Saturday, followed by 2am to 5am and 9pm to 12am on the Sunday for the third and fourth sessions. These times are subject to change.

Bandai Namco added in a recent press release that they wanted to make the best beta possible, which will now include more than the previously announced 9 characters. The closed beta will be available on PS4 and Xbox One. So be sure to be ready to sign up on 22nd August to be within a chance of playing this game early.
