Dragon Ball FighterZ To Be At Charity Event
Video games are used for many things. They’re made to make us happy, keep us entertained, and even, to train us in certain things, and make us smarter. But given their worldwide appeal, they can also be used for even greater goods, like raising money for charity. And indeed, many do that, whether it’s through Twitch streams or special events, video gamers take time to use the games to make other lives better. For the event Awesome Games Done Quick, they’re setting up for their next major event, and they’re bringing Dragon Ball FighterZ with them.
That’s right, the upcoming fighting game from Arc Systems and Bandai Namco is going to make an appearance at the event. This was revealed on Twitter via Tokyo Attack.

What’s makes this even more interesting though is how people will play it. For the game will be housed in arcade cabinets.

So yeah, this very special event just got even more special. Pretty cool, huh?
The point of Games Done Quick is that they bring in “high-level” video gamers to do epic marathons of games, which they then stream and show off to the live audience, and raise money through it. So, having a yet-to-be-released game here is a big deal.
If you’re curious who will be available in the demo, it appears as though Goku, Vegeta, Teen Gohan, Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu, Future Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 18, and Androird 16 will be the characters in it.
Those who can’t be at the event don’t have to worry, the beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on the 14th and the 15th of this month. With the full game coming out on the 26th.
