Dragon Ball FighterZ Already Has Mods For It
There was a time in gaming where it was impossible for the players of the game to modify the core of the product. But as time and technology went on, gamers began to experiment, and soon, Mods were born. These changes would bring new life to games, and sometimes just inject a bit of the gamer’s personality into things. All new games are subject to mods on some level, it just takes the desire to do it. And so, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Dragon Ball FighterZ already has Mods.
I mean, come on, this is a very passionate fanbase, and one that has been wanting this game for months. So, of course, they were going to have at it and make some cool things for the title. Although, we have to admit, doing it in less than a week and two days? That’s pretty impressive.
So…what did they mod? Well, most of it is small-scale. They did palette swaps and such. But some of them went beyond that. For example, one mod took Goku and Vegeta and put them in their gear from the Saiyan Saga. Aka, when they first met. Which required a different outfit for both.
Another mod gave Vegeta an all-new look and turned him into Super Saiyan Rose Vegeta (anyone who knows that backstory should know why that’s a scary thought).
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, and no doubt as time continues to go on, more mods will become available. If you want the mods we tagged here, just go to their links and they’ll show you have to install them. However, this is only for the PC version of Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Dragon Ball FighterZ itself is doing very well sales wise, as it’s already sold two million copies, and that’s likely to increase as more time goes on. So with more sales, comes more possibilities for Mods. Who knows what’ll be made next?
