Feral Interactive has announced today that DiRT Rally will be making its way to macOS at some point later this year. The game is developed and published by Codemasters, and is considered one of the best rally games out there, often being praised for its focus on the genre and realistic handling.
DiRT Rally will see players rallying their way around some of the most dangerous tracks that the world has to offer, such as the icy forests of Sweden and the Greek hillsides, to the likes of the eye-catching countryside of Wales. Players will also need to traverse these tracks whilst dealing with the weather conditions, with rain, snow and fog all playing a part on your vision and the way you handle each race, having to change up your driving style depending on your environment.
David Stephen, the managing director of Feral Interactive, stated: “DiRT Rally offers players a thrilling, mud-splattered racing experience, but under the bonnet, it’s a meticulously-crafted game. As they tweak the brake bias and gear ratios of their cars, and take their skill and concentration to the limit on every combination of road surface and weather condition, players will discover a great game that’s driven by detail.”
System requirements for DiRT Rally are set to be confirmed closer to release.
