Recently, we saw the announcement that the legend of the Blue Bomber would live on with the reveal of Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. Physical copies of the upcoming release have been available for some time, but now the digital version is available for players to pre-order also, with the game set for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC via the Windows Store.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 brings another set of classics from the Mega Man universe. This second bundle collects Mega Man 7, 8, 9 and 10, which sees a transition from the retro roots to further timeless classics, collecting 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit games as you take on the dastardly Dr. Wily and his challenging Robot Masters.
The collection offers up a whole bunch of extras too, with time trials, remix challenges for you to ascend the online leaderboard, as well as rare gallery illustrations and a music player to listen to some classic tunes. On top of that, the DLC released for both Mega Man 9 and 10 will be included, with additional stages and characters to play as. The franchise always did challenge its players, so if you find yourself struggling, you can now reduce the damage you take for an extra helping hand.
