Devil May Cry 5 looks like a promising action brawler, and it will have a training mode. PAX West gave us some new info on the upcoming DMC title, and it seems the game will even have a photo mode as well.
PAX West always comes with some new information regarding upcoming titles. This time, we got some information about Devil May Cry 5. Senior producer Michiteru Okabe, director Hideaki Itsuno, and producer Matt Walker told us about the training mode and the photo mode. You can check out the panel out on Gematsu’s channel.
You see, the Devil May Cry games always had rather spectacular combat. The whole point of the combat, in fact, was to perform incredible feats of carnage. You’re given many tools of chaos, so it’s up to you to use them in the most impressive way possible. This isn’t exactly easy, and you won’t figure out all of the combos on the first playthrough, that’s for sure. But, during the PAX West panel, Okabe confirmed that we’re getting a training mode in Devil May Cry 5. This is great news, as it lets us polish up our skills before we engage the demons and try to kill them in spectacular fashion.
The photo mode isn’t really all that important to us, but it will also be present in the game. Some people will probably like the fact that they can take a picture of an insane mid-air combo.
