Detroit: Become Human Will Have Diverse Storylines

It has been known for a while that our choices in Detroit: Become Human will have serious weight and consequences. According to the director of the game, two players will not even be able to identify each other’s game, due to massive differences between the stories that are heavily influenced by us.

During this year’s E3, there were several videos showcasing Detroit: Become Human. One of these showed a scenario where the player is trying to save two Androids, which eventually leads to a riot. David Cage, director of the game, claims that the story in the video has further depths. Players do not have to make good or bad choices, the game is not like that. The developer wants to get the player to ask themselves, “What would I do in this situation?”. Of course, things do not always come together as we plan, sometimes we think we’re on the right track, and then end up in a rough situation.

Detroit: Become Human

Evidently, Detroit: Become will not be the first game that tries to accomplish this, but David Cage claims it will be three times more complex than Heavy Rain when it comes to our personal choices. In this epic game, it will be possible to return to an earlier position so that we can make different choices. This is definitely a logical part of the game, since it would really be an awful experience to suffer throughout the entire game when we picked the worst possible direction.
