Further information regarding the highly anticipated release of Crackdown 3 was revealed by Microsoft at San Diego Comic Con recently.
Whilst the majority of the panel was centered around Terry Crews starring as Commander Isaiah Jaxon, there was also some additional news about the game itself too. In the video below, you can check out Crews working on his performance capture in a short trailer about his character model.
Set over a decade after Crackdown 2, this new sequel sees The Agency tracking a number of blackouts which have hit the world back to New Providence, an island housing a corporation known as Terra Nova. It will be the agents’ task to reveal Terra Nova as a criminal outfit once and for all.
As far as the gameplay goes, the whole city will be available to the player from the very start, in which the objective will be to discover where each villain’s place of motivation is and ultimately chop down the hierarchy. This will trigger them to raise their defenses and eventually appear in the game to make for some pretty intense boss fights. A new character was also revealed at the panel, named Echo, who will be the voice in your ear when you arrive at New Providence.
Crackdown 3 will release later this year in November.
