Next week will mark the beginning of the Crimson Days event in Destiny 2, lasting for an entire week, which will bring a new Crucible playlist, weapons, emotes and more.
Players can expect a new 2v2 Crucible playlist, which will arrive alongside a new map entitled The Burnout. This will take place on The Burning Shine, in a future timeline in which the Vex has managed to alter reality. Meanwhile, those who do level up will be rewarded with an Illuminated Engram, as well as a new Crimson Engram when they reach a new level, though the latter can only be earned through gameplay, and will need to have reached the level cap in order to receive it.
Should you complete the following tasks, you will be granted new rewards, according to NoobFeed:
- Complete the milestone “Welcome to Crimson Days” by finishing five Crimson Days matches and visiting Lord Shaxx in the Tower to earn the Fire of the Crimson Days Emblem and the Tirastrella Exotic Ghost Shell.
- Complete matches in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist for a chance to earn the Undeterred Exotic Sparrow.
- Complete either the Leviathan Raid or the Raid Lair: Eater of Worlds to claim the Dieselpunk Exotic Ornament for Wardcliff Coil from the final chest.
- Complete the Nightfall Strike during the Crimson Days event to earn the Flaunting Dance Emote.
The Crimson Days event starts next Tuesday, and lasts until Tuesday, February 20th at 9am PST.
