Destiny 2: Warmind Fixes On The Way
Whenever new content comes, you can always expect some sort of problems, mostly in terms of balancing and/or bugs. The latest expansion for Bungie’s sci-fi multiplayer shooter went well, but there were some things that needed to be addressed. Thankfully, the developers of Destiny 2 work hard and fast, and so we found out what they’re fixing and when, so expect the 1.2.0.2 update to hit the live servers on May 15th.
As always, the “This Week at Bungie” post gave us all the information about the changes that needed to happen and when they’re happening. As you very well may know, the launch of the Warmind expansion also brought Season 3 to Destiny 2 which changed Exotics and improved the pace of PvP in the game. But, let’s talk more about what needs fixing in the game right now. First of all, let’s talk about the Crucible Fireteam Matchmaking which was semi-disabled, as Bungie stated:
Due to issues discovered at launch, Crucible Fireteam Matchmaking changes introduced in Update 1.2.0 were temporarily disabled. A portion of this feature has been enabled. This will slightly improve the matchmaking experience for solo players vs. pre-made fireteams in Crucible playlists.
The Rat King weapons also had some problems, so they have disabled access to it. If you have the weapon equipped, just log in and out of the game. The Gunsmith is also being rude, as he doesn’t want to sell legendary mods to certain players.
