Destiny 2 will finally be available for testing for some lucky PS4 and Xbox One players as tomorrow, on July 18, console beta testing will start.
The PS4 beta client can be pre-downloaded so you do not have to bother with it when the gates are opened. Currently, only those who have received a beta code will have access to it, but over time, the other PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to take part in the test. The PC beta arrives later.
You can also get Destiny 2 beta access codes by pre-ordering the PS4 version, which will enable you to take part in the testing starting tomorrow. Those who have pre-ordered for Xbox One, testing starts on July 19.
On July 21, all console players can take part in the test phase. This will last until July 23, so it will be possible to stress those servers till Sunday night. Activision has not told us the exact date for the PC test event at this time, but we know it is planned to occur sometime in late August. During the current beta test, the same content will be available, as what the developer presented at this year’s E3. Destiny 2 arrives for consoles on September 6, and on October 24 for PC. Do not miss the test events that start in the day and we look forward to your feedback.
