If you’ve been waiting for a Destiny game to make its way to the PC platform, then you won’t have much longer to do so. Pre-loading for the game has already begun, which got underway yesterday. If you are looking to pick up the game, you can do so here, as well as through Battle.net via Blizzard.
Destiny 2 doesn’t actually go live until 10am PT on October 24th, but if you pre-load the game, you can start playing right away, without having to wait for it to install on launch day. PC players will be treated to a Destiny experience that offers 4K resolution, as well as uncapped frame rates, custom key mapping and much more. So if you like to fiddle around with visual enhancements and so forth, then you will be able to do so on this particular platform, such as adjustments to field view and the use of up to three different monitors.
Destiny 2 released to critical acclaim on PS4 and Xbox One last month, bringing the highly anticipated sequel to console platforms. Next week meanwhile will mark the first game in the franchise to land on PC, which will introduce a whole new audience to the immensely popular series from Bungie.
