Destiny 2 has seen many talented gamers flock to the game, one set being a clan made up of 11 deaf members who have managed to topple the final boss of the Leviathan raid, Calus. The reason that this is such a remarkable achievement is that communication is most definitely key when tackling raids.
The clan is known as deafforalwaysfamous, who achieved this earlier week using signals that had been pre-typed on the Glide video chat app, as well as in-game signs which show how to coordinate the assault on the last boss.
Throughout the boss fight, Calus will begin to show symbols on his forehead. From here, three of the designated readers from alternate realms would then be assigned to call each one out, so that the “Puncher” could decide on the correct attack to make.
This was achieved by using Glide to quickly signal S for Sun, D for Dog, C for Cup and A for Axe. This method has been praised by many fans who have come across this revelation, stating that it is even more efficient than being able to speak the words between team mates.
Destiny 2 meanwhile, is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and has now also released on PC.
