Konami has announced that they will be introducing another player to its roster of legendary players in PES 2018, now introducing former England midfielder and world renowned superstar David Beckham.
Becks has had a massive impact on the sport, and is considered one of the most recognized footballers of modern times at least. His 20-year career led him to lifting 19 major trophies in England, Spain, Italy and the US, playing for the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan and LA Galaxy, before a brief stint at PSG at the end of his career. He was the first ever British player to appear in 100 UEFA Champions League matches, as well as racking up 115 caps with England. He was best known for his deadly technique from set-pieces and dead-ball situations, scoring some of the most breathtaking goals in history.
Understandably, Konami will be elated to be adding such a well recognized star to their legendary roster, with Beckham also excited to see how he will be represented in the upcoming game.
