A lot of the battle royal games out there are quite similar, but there are ones that are a tad bit different from the rest. Have you heard about the Darwin Project? It’s a battle royal game but the gameplay is much like that of the Hunger Games, and that’s where things get interesting. The game is still in Early Access, but currently, it has Very Positive reviews on its Steam page, which is quite shocking for an Early Access title.
Now, what’s a better way to enter a cold, ruthless arena than with a friend? Darwin Project’s Duo Mode will be staying for good, so if you don’t want to enter a slaughterfest on your own you don’t have to worry, you can bring someone with you. This was the most requested feature ever since the game launched on Early Access, so it’s really reassuring to see that some developers really listen closely to what their fans want to see. The developers also tweaked the matchmaking system a couple of weeks ago, since this is a title where your skill and wits matter a lot, and so accordingly new players facing those that have been playing since the Closed Alpha would be really unfair.
