I’ve been a fan of the Dark Souls franchise for quite some time now. Overcoming the seemingly unnecessarily hard DLC bosses from the second game is one of my most treasured gaming achievements, and as much as I enjoy the challenges that the games present, I can see why others are keen to shy away from them, given how unforgiving they are.
Dark Souls 3 was no easy challenge by any means either. There were moments in that game that had me tearing out what little hair I have, so to hear that someone has beaten the entire title in just over half an hour is rather gutting. Nevertheless, this is an insane achievement, one which has been earned by Nemz38.
A well known name in the DS community, Nemz38 managed to set the fastest playthrough in the game’s history, clocking in at 35:09. And that’s only the tip of the impressive iceberg, as he has also beaten every record worth shouting about, such as boss completion and 100% completion.

- Any% Current Patch – 1:21:12
- Boss Rush – 24:28
- All Bosses – 1:36:46
- All Bosses No Major Skips – 1:25:37

- 100% Completion – 12:37:54
It boggles the mind as to how he has managed to gain every single achievement in the game in less than 13 hours. The only achievements I managed were those earned through general progression, if memory serves. We certainly tip our caps to the incredible skills displayed by Nemz38.
