The first major content update for Dark and Light has now gone live, bringing The Mysteries of Blackice Peaks to the game.
This latest update brings with it some much needed performance optimizations, plus a whole bunch of new content such as the first PvE dungeon with the Ice Caves, two new knowledge nodes, as well as Forging and Goblin Engineering. Those who are brave enough to come out victorious in the Ice Caves will be rewarded with new equipment and items, should you survive against the cold, dangerous animals that are lurking within. This will be no easy task, so make sure you are prepared by arming yourself appropriately and gathering the most powerful party you can muster up.
The game’s developers have also acknowledged the black screen bug that is currently hindering Dark and Light. This sees a black screen occurring once 99% loading has been reached, and is being worked on by the team as we speak: “We’re continuing to investigate and work on the issue, but we currently have no ETA for a permanent fix.” The statement goes on to thank players for their continued support and patience as they attempt to figure out how to fix the problem.
