You don’t have a lot of games in Early Access that get expansions, but Dark and Light is one of them.
Dark and Light is an MMO in Early Access that deals with high fantasy. It does have quite a lot of content for a title that’s still in development. But, there are so many issues and bugs and glitches that aren’t getting fixed. Nonetheless, it is a survival game set in a charming magical world filled with wonder. It has potential, so definitely keep an eye on it if you’re bored of standard MMORPGs like WoW.
The Shard of Faith expansion pack for Dark and Light is here. It brings a whole new map called Ganareth. It’s huge, with 5 new biomes for us to explore. But, that’s not all. Shard of Faith also introduces a new magic Incarnation system, new enemies to fight, new gear to acquire, new ally races to meet, and we even got some optimization tweaks.
So, what is this Incarnation feature all about? Well, it is something like shapeshift magic, but not quite. It lets you incarnate into powerful race heroes. There is no time limit or anything like that, and this incarnation gives you better stats, exclusive weapons, and wearable equipment. You also get access to powerful skills and unique abilities. You can check all of this out in the teaser for Shard of Faith, which is rather spectacular.
