Cyberpunk 2077 releases its first big patch, titled patch 1.1, which increases overall stability and fixes a lot of bugs and issues with the game.
CDPR isn’t having such a great time right now. It’s been like that since Cyberpunk 2077 launched, made an insane amount of money, and then put CD Projekt into a LOT of trouble. I mean they are getting sued, not once, but twice. The co-founder of CD Projekt even had to do a public apology on video to try to calm things down. It didn’t help much, which is normal considering they did a bunch of lying and manipulating before the game’s launch. Then the launch showed just how broken and unfinished the game really is.
Yet, they’re working their hardest to fix all of this. I just hope they’re not forcing their workers to crunch again. I know they’ve said they wouldn’t, but they’ve said that before and then forced mandatory crunch hours upon their staff. Anyhow, Cyberpunk 2077 got patch 1.1 that brings peace and stability. Memory usage improvements, crash fixes, various quest/open-world fixes, the oversized saves problem is fixed, and more. It’s the first step towards fixing all the rough edges on all platforms, and more is to come in the following months. You can read the full patch notes here.
