Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have Optional HUD Elements
The Cyberpunk 2077 trailer was absolutely amazing, and of course, it was followed up by a lot of questions. One of those was HUD elements, and if they could be turned off.
Cyberpunk 2077 lives up to the hype without any doubt. It looks like a game where we will feel very immersed in the world. That is awesome, especially when you consider how much attention is being given to the world and characters. Now, there was a thing that bugged us when we watched the gameplay walkthrough, and that is the damage numbers. When you shoot an enemy, damage numbers pop up like crazy to tell you how much damage you’re doing with your weapon.
When using a rapid-firing rifle or pistol, you can imagine how much clutter is going to appear when you hit an enemy. That’s a problem, but don’t worry, CD Projekt Red has already given a statement. Most HUD elements in the game can be turned on or off, depending on your preferences. See, most developers need to look up to these guys. Listening to your fanbase and giving them what they want (if they find the demands reasonable) is an amazing thing.
When the players are happy, the developers will be happy too. Since the game will get good reviews which will result in more sales and that sort of thing. There is even a thread where they wanted to know what would the players change. Also in what way. CD Projekt Red never ceases to amaze us, and they might just become our favorite developer team.
