A single tweet from the team behind Cyberpunk 2077 has sent the internet into a spin, as developers CD Projekt RED tease something new on the highly anticipated RPG.
The team behind the critically acclaimed Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt tweeted out *beep* which would sound pretty tame in normal circumstances, but this was the first tweet from the account in a few years. In fact, the last tweet was sent in December 2013, which suggests that we are about to hear some kind of information in the near future.

Cyberpunk 2077 was originally announced way back in 2012, though it was put on the backburner in order to work on the latest entry in the famous Witcher series. The game has been confirmed for PC, Xbox One and PS4, though the only other thing we have to go off of at this time is a trailer from 2013.
The upcoming title is apparently going to be an open-world RPG set in a sci-fi location known as Night City. The game’s original announcement stated that it would feature both single-player and multiplayer, though this could have changed over time. Let’s hope we hear something more soon. Perhaps something at E3 when it rolls around later this year?
