Cyberpunk 2077 finally got its huge patch 1.2 which brought an insane amount of fixes for both the PC and console versions.
Can Cyberpunk 2077 even be saved?
Things are still chaotic when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077 and CDPR. First, they allegedly got hacked, which delayed patch 1.2. Secondly, the game lost its lead gameplay designer. The game and its devs have been in a ton of controversy ever since the launch day. But for now, things don’t seem that bad as the game got its new patch.
However, you can never please gamers. The announcement of the Cyberpunk 2077 1.2 patch on Twitter was met with a lot of cynicism. That just goes to show how much CDPR messed up their relationship with their fans. At this point, can it even be saved? Only time can tell.
An absurd amount of bugfixes and changes
Yet, this patch is enormous. It would take you a solid 10 minutes to read the whole thing. With 505 changes in total, 484 being overall fixes and 21 being console-specific ones. Gameplay adjustment, NPC behavior, buggy quests, stability improvements, UI polishing, and a lot else gets improved by this patch. Read the full patch notes if you have the time here.
If all goes well, Cyberpunk 2077 should be a stable and playable game by the end of this year. But you never know when a new cyber attack may occur these days.
You can pick up Cyberpunk 2077 for a crazy-low price on HRK Game right now. You can also try out CDPR’s The Witcher 3, the RPG that earned them the love and support of many gamers.
