CD Projekt RED announces that Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t getting patch 1.2 when it’s supposed to due to the hacker attack.
Cyberpunk 2077 and CDPR are constantly in some sort of controversy
We all know the story behind Cyberpunk 2077. Crunch, a scope too big for any game, multiple delays, a horrible console port, and a horribly buggy and mediocre game at launch. I’ve talked about ALL of that many times.
Then a cyber attack hit CD Projekt. Another in a series of unfortunate events. Thanks to that incident the devs weren’t able to work on the game. When everything settled down, the team got to work on Cyberpunk 2077 and patch 1.2 again. But, the time lost did its damage and the patch has been delayed to the second half of March.
When will Cyberpunk 2077 get its redemption arc?
CD Projekt RED was a highly praised dev just a year ago. They came down crashing fast and hard when Cyberpunk 20777 released. Yet, there’s a redemption arc coming, I just know it. Repairing the relationship with their audience is an incredibly hard task. But I know that CDPR won’t let it end like this.
What do you think, will CD Projekt RED redeem themselves? Or is their image ruined forever? Let me know your opinions and thoughts in the comments section down below!
