How do you know that everyone is staying home these days? Well, concurrent online player records are being broken left and right. All of us have to stay home, so naturally, we’re going to play games. We’re going to spend a lot of time playing games. That’s happening right now, as CS: GO passes 1 million concurrent players. It’s a free-to-play game, so it isn’t that strange that more people are trying it now. What’s a better time to play new and exciting titles than now?
CS: GO has been breaking its records for the last few months. Valve’s tactical first-person shooter just keeps growing, regarding its player base. The game is doing amazingly well, and it even removed Dota 2 from its spot as the game with the most players on Steam. However, these numbers are appearing because of the global crisis that we’re all in. Everyone is staying at home, and people are advised to stay away from others, so a lot of us are spending their free time playing games.
