Crucible Labs Coming To Destiny 2
With the recent launch of the Destiny 2 Warmind expansion, Bungie wanted to let us know what they are working on next. The expansion brought your typical things like new items, enemies, bosses, locations, and so on, but what will be getting after that? Well, development roadmaps are there to give us insight into the upcoming content, and the latest Destiny 2 roadmap revealed something that’s called “Crucible Labs” and Bungie decided to tell exactly what that is.
Most of us would think that this would be some kind of new location or gameplay feature, but it is not exactly anything like that. This summer will be quite jampacked with content, as you can expect the Prestige modes, Bounties which are making a return, quality of life changes and fixes, a new seasonal event (Solstice of Heroes) and so on, but before that, we will get the Crucible Labs. Well, we won’t know exactly what it is, but Design Lead Derek Carroll said this about this new upcoming feature:
I can already hear you asking “What is Crucible Labs?” and I’m glad you want to know more. Update 1.2.1 will include a new feature intended to give you a peek behind the scenes and a louder voice in our creative process. Crucible Labs will give every player of Destiny 2 access to experimental PvP content. We’ll then have a chance to solicit your feedback to guide our final iterations.
They said that we will get to know more about this upcoming Destiny 2 feature right before it gets released, so we guess it’s time for some waiting.
