The release of Final Fantasy XV on PC is fast approaching, with it set to arrive next month, as per the official Windows Store page. What’s more, there will be cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows 10, which is what a lot of people would have been expecting to see. However, this will only be available with the Windows 10 version, and will be unavailable to those who purchase it on Steam.
When the PC version does release in March, it will arrive with all the DLC that released on the console version of Final Fantasy XV. This includes the third DLC, which was entitled Comrades, which brought co-op multiplayer to the critically acclaimed RPG title, where teams would participate in missions in order to hold back the darkness and slay any monsters in sight.
What’s interesting about this is that it will mostly likely be able to support cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Of course, it isn’t as expansive as the single-player game, but surely no one is expecting it to be, and it will provide a very interesting multiplayer experience.
Final Fantasy XV arrives on PC on March 6th, and is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.
