Unfortunately for the PC players, they won’t be able to enjoy the summer good times in TERA. On the other hand, if you’re playing on the consoles, you’re going to have a great time starting on July 17th, which is when the Summer Festival begins. There are two options for you, option one is going outside Castanica and enjoying the already traditional Beach Bash. Option two is to go to Balder’s Refuge where you can participate in the Festival of the Sun. All in all, console players are going to have a wonderful time, while PC players can only watch from the sidelines.
The Beach Bash is a rather tedious event, so let’s talk about the Festival of the Sun, as it involves fighting, which is the best thing about TERA. Now, since a lot of unwanted visitors arrived in the Temple of the Sun, your job is to take them out. Naturally, you’re going to be fighting everything that comes your way while you’re in there, and then you have to clean the whole place up. But, those that work hard get awesome rewards, like sweet iced desserts. Their official announcement says:
Each event that you complete at the Festival of the Sun rewards you with Temple Medallions. Each event that you complete at the Beach Bash or the Banquet of Blood (accessible from the Festival of the Sun) rewards you with Claret Medallions. These medallions can be redeemed for various accessories, enchanting materials—or even Slaughter gear!
All TERA players on consoles want to participate in this summer event, as you don’t want to miss those sweet Claret Medallions.
