We are just under three months away from the full release of Conan Exiles, and a recent developer blog has revealed what the team is working on in time for the game’s launch.
Features that will be available at launch will see players experiencing new biomes with a swamp located around the southern desert, as well as a volcanic area that can be found near the Frozen North. Said biomes will increase the size of the game’s map by double, and will bring new monsters, as well as weapons and armor, crafting materials and plenty more to come.
A combat overhaul is also being worked on, which was said to be of primary focus after the results of a community survey. The changes were showcased in a recent livestream of the game, and fans can expect gameplay to be more fun and tactically aware than ever before.
At launch, players can also expect to see farming, fast travel, a new religion, and a perk system to allow you to alter your character to suit how you play the game. The new purge mechanic will also see NPCs or creatures attacking player bases, which will be available in both PvE and PvP servers.
