The Conan Exiles test server is offering players the freedom of some additional mobility, thanks to the new sprint and wield adjustments that have been implemented.
Usually, when players start breaking into a sprint, their character will sheathe their weapons, before drawing them out again once they stop. With the changes that have been made, you’ll get a lot more control whilst sprinting, which can now be done diagonally and more dynamically. You can now also carry on sprinting after leaping if the sprint button held down.
A number of animation adjustments have also been made on the test server, which will focus on combat. Players can now “ghost” actions via a special state, such as pressing attack or block whilst dodging or keeping your guard up after being knocked back or hitting the confirm button. They aren’t the biggest of changes, but they might well help Conan Exiles run and play a bit more smoothly going forward.
A variety of bug fixes have also been detailed, which aims to bring further improvements to the open world game which is currently in Early Access, as well as the Xbox One Game Preview program ahead of it’s full release in early 2018.
