Code Vein is something like an anime version of Dark Souls. Would that be something that you’d play? Of course it is, have you seen how awesome the graphics look? Well, unfortunately for us, we won’t be getting the game when it was supposed to come out. Why? It seems like Bandai Namco wants to refine the gameplay a bit more, which is understandable but still doesn’t help with this feeling of sadness we are feeling. The game got a September release date sometime last month, but now it seems like we’re getting this action RPG sometime in 2019.
Bandai Namco wants to exceed the expectations that the players have for this game. That makes sense, and we understand that they need more time to polish the game up. You want your product to be as good as possible right when it launches, right? Yeah, that makes sense, and judging from what they wrote on their Twitter announcement, it seems like they want the players to fall in love with the game even more than before. That’s alright, we can wait a bit more if it is really needed, but if we’re being honest we have to admit that this release date delay made us a bit sad.
This combination of vampires, anime, and Dark Souls-like combat makes us really hyped up for Code Vein, and we can’t wait to play the game as soon as it launches!
