Chinese Super League Could Be Coming to FIFA 18
A brand new league is set to be introduced to FIFA 18, according to sources. Back in January, we heard rumors that the Chinese Super League will be featured in FIFA 18, something that has been requested by players for the past few years.
This is because there has been somewhat of an exodus of big stars in football making their way over to China, as the country establishes itself on the world stage of the beautiful game. Players have looked to play as star-studded teams such as Shanghai Shenhua, Shanghai SIPG, Guangzhou Evergrande, Tianjin Quanjian and others.
The rumors in January were started by Jiangsu Suning forward Alex Teixeira Santos, who’s Instagram post was captioned: “Official presentation for FIFA 18 new jersey for the 2017 season.”
The introduction of this league could see players such as Alexandre Pato, Axel Witsel, Carlos Tevez, Gervinho, Hulk, John Obi Mikel and Oscar among others being played as in the game. However, Fox Sports Italy has pointed out that FIFA gameplay producer Sam Rivera recently spoke of the difficulties that they have faced in securing licensing from that particular league.
Time will tell as to whether or not we will see the Chinese Super League in FIFA 18, which is heavily dependent on securing licenses. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved prior to the release on September 29th.
