Certain Hearthstone Cards Are Getting Adjusted
What are your thoughts on the current Hearthstone meta? It is quite possibly the most balanced meta we ever had in the game, and finally, we are happy. This kind of opening sentence makes you think that something bad is coming to the game, but no, just certain adjustments to minions. What kind of adjustments you might ask? Well, mostly minion types, to be precise, certain cards had no minion type attached to them, and now they have a type, for example, the Mountain and Molten Giants are now Elementals.
It makes sense for giants that are made out of stone and molten to be Elementals, and this sort of thing can also open up some new deck possibilities, even though that doesn’t seem likely. Also, another reason why Blizzard is making these adjustments is to make the cards more lore accurate. We don’t actually know if any Hearthstone players care about the Warcraft lore in this title, but Blizzard obviously does.
Other cards that were changed include the Witchwood Piper, which is the first satyr in the game, and now its officially a Demon. The North Sea Kraken is now also a Beast. The odd thing is that one card got its tag removed, and that is the Jungle Moonkin, which lost its Beast tag. Lastly, we have the Witchwood Grizzly that got new art.
