CDPR has a comedy reel of Cyberpunk 2077 and all of its many insane bugs that somehow found its way onto YouTube.
CDPR got sued thanks to the game’s horrendous launch. Multiple lawsuits even combined into one because they were all aiming at the same thing; Cyberpunk 2077 launched in an extremely buggy state. Some would say it unforgivable considering it’s a triple-A release, but it’s not strange that today’s blockbuster titles release in similar states.
However, it seems CDPR got to make fun of Cyberpunk 2077 and its bugs way before any of us did. A strange compilation of clips found its way on YouTube. It looks a lot like the meme videos players made when Cyberpunk released. Yet, this clearly shows the devs recording the game breaking in all sorts of ways. Check out the video down below:
CDPR producer Slava Lukyanenk confirmed in a now-deleted Tweet (but screenshotted) that this was footage collected by QA and developers during the game’s development. Strange, the bugs recorded in this video don’t seem much different from the ones seen in the game today.
This is another dent in CDPR’s reputation as it shows everyone saw how broken Cyberpunk was. Yet, it was still released for full price. Tragic.
Half of CDPR is actively working on getting Cyberpunk to a state where it can reach its full potential. Multiple patches have been released and the game is on its way to become stable and bugfree.
