Call of Duty: WWII is on its way to us, and with it will be a classic map that will be a welcome addition for old school fans of the franchise. It has been announced today that there will be the Carentan map added as part of the game’s season pass, bringing a map which appeared in the original Call of Duty game, as well as Call of Duty: United Offensive and Call of Duty 2.
It won’t quite be as you remember it. This brand new version that is coming to the latest entry in the series will see you fighting through destroyed buildings and ruined streets of the devastated French town, as you inflict all-out warfare on a strategic German Stronghold. Carentan will be available for all season pass owners as a bonus map, with the pass already offering plentiful content as it is.
The season pass for Call of Duty: WWII looks set to provide a full-blown World War 2 experience, as the first-person shooter franchise makes a return to its roots for the next installment. The pass will allow players to continue their journey through the war with 4 DLC Packs which will release in 2018, which will include both new and classic multiplayer maps, all-new War Missions and new chapter of Nazi Zombies.
