A lot of speculation has been flying around regarding this subject, but now Capcom themselves teased a Resident Evil 3 Remake via Steam.
The RE3 Remake rumors have been plentiful these days. Capcom has several different titles in development that are using the RE engine. Some rumors even say that Capcom is releasing the Resident Evil 3 Remake next year. Well, those rumors may just be true. Considering that the Resident Evil 2 Remake was an exceptional hit which sold quite well, why wouldn’t they give the third game the same treatment? Whatever the case may be, PC Games N noticed something. The Resident Evil Facebook page promoted the entire RE franchise on Steam. But, the picture used for that promotional post features characters from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Any Resident Evil fans know that finding that game these days is extremely hard. So, why did they put Jill Valentine and Nemesis there? Was it accidental, or on purpose?
I’m pretty sure Capcom is working on a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Rework. With RE7 and RE2 Remaster, they’ve captured the horror/survival theme, gameplay formula, and atmosphere exceptionally. Now all they have to do is keep making/remaking games with the same quality and satisfy their audiences, both old and new.
