A reimagining of one of the best shooters out there is coming in the form of Call of Duty Modern Warfare!
If you’re a CoD fan, then you probably have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in your top 5 games of the entire franchise. Why? Probably because it had an excellent single player campaign and pretty fun multiplayer. It’s one of those shooters that has a dedicated playerbase even today. Hell, we’re still popping in for a round of Search and Destroy on Backlot every now and then.
Guess the next title in the CoD franchise is that, reimagined. Don’t know what that means precisely as of now, but we can expect a tightly crafted single player segment. We will be playing as secret forces once again as we experience the thrill of modern warfare with some of our favorite characters, some of which have new voice actors. Just a small change that the players are already complaining about in the comments section.
Infinity Ward is back as the developer, and they have prepared quite a story for us:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare engulfs fans in an incredibly raw, gritty, provocative narrative that brings unrivaled intensity and shines a light on the changing nature of modern war.
We’ll be visiting captivating European cities and expansive areas of the Middle East while we’re doing our “secret operations”. If this game manages to deliver an impactful singleplayer, the CoD franchise can finally bounce back after years of horrible narrative experiences. Maybe this is the redemption arc for one of the most influential shooter franchises this world has ever seen.
