The time has come for the first seasonal community event to hit Call of Duty: WWII. Kicking off tomorrow from Friday 8th December through to January 2nd, Winter Siege will get underway to bring a whole new set of content for players.
Winter Siege brings new frost-coated activities for a limited time, featuring the Winter Carentan multiplayer map, as well as the return of the Gun Game party mode. Players can expect there to be Double XP Playlists, plus a winterized Headquarters complete with a new Quartermaster. If that’s not enough, then you can also check out new Winter Siege Supply Drops, which will bring new limited edition winter gear and content. Needless to say, you’ll be heading into the holiday period with plenty of new winter content to be getting on with.
Senior product developer, Multiplayer at Sledgehammer Games Aaron Halon added: “The Winter Siege is all about celebrating with the Call of Duty community. There’s a ton of content for everyone to play during this time from a re-imagined Winter Carentan multiplayer map that’s now packed with snow to Gun Game to Supply Drops full of winter-themed gear and content all available throughout the Winter Siege.”
Call of Duty: WWII is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
