Call of Duty may have started out as a singleplayer only franchise, but through the rise of Modern Warfare came the ability to take things to the next level. Or in this case, the multiplayer level. As such, all subsequent games have had just as much focus on multiplayer as singleplayer, and Call of Duty: WWII is no different. In fact, Sledgehammer Games makes weekly updates to the multiplayer in order to keep things fresh, as well as update players on what’s going on. And the latest one is out now.
On their forums, Sledgehammer Games details all the updates and fixes. For example, if you play Gun Game mode before the 20th, you’ll get 2XP for doing so. So don’t miss out on that. But most importantly arguably is that a lot of changes and fixes have been made with this update. Sledgehammer notes that a glitch in the Winter Siege event made it so that bribes (in the game) couldn’t be properly done on PC. All PC players will be granted 3 Rare Resistance Supply Drops to compensate them for that.
They’re also working on how scorestreaks are calculated for numerous units, and how they’re affected by others. Some are implemented here, and others are going to be coming in a future update.
Some players have noted that certain Supply Drops items have been missing despite them being in the drops, Sledgehammer is looking into this right now and should have an update soon. There are some other smaller issues that have been reported that will be fixed in future updates as well.
Finally, the team notes that the upcoming Orders and Contracts will be coming soon, they’re in the final testing stages now, and they will be ready for DLC 2.
So, if you haven’t gotten you Call of Duty: WWII game on recently, now may be a perfect time to do so.
