Call Of Duty: WWII Headquarters Feature Up And Running
Call Of Duty: WWII had a lot of lofty goals when it was announced. First, it wanted to bring the series back to its roots in World War II. Second, it wanted to bring all the graphical and gameplay advancements of recent years to bare for all to see while sticking to what made World War II so brutal and visceral. Finally, they wanted to input more social aspects of gameplay into the mix, to allow players to truly interact with one another. It was called Headquarters, but it didn’t launch like it should’ve.
For as many have noted, when Call Of Duty: WWII launched and players booted up their Headquarters, they found that they were all empty, save for themselves of course. This was due to server issues among other things, and it caused many parts of the game to be flawed. But, Sledgehammer Games promised to fix this, and players have gone to Twitter to note that their efforts have not been in vain.
First time seeing other players in the HQ; it’s like a whole new game! #CODWWII @charlieintel @bigfoltz @Omgitsalia pic.twitter.com/STwB8Nhyub

Ana isn’t the only one sharing her excitement, as Headquarters is meant to be a truly interactive experience. Players are able to mingle with others, as well as do tasks together like go to shooting ranges, and even do test courses together. Plus, it’s just a great visual to see all the other player characters in one place. Which ironically is Normandy beach in the game.
Now, it’s unclear right now whether all players are seeing this, but it’s likely a good majority. Also, we don’t know if all features are currently working. But, even if they’re not, this is most definitely a step in the right direction that many will appreciate.
