With the beta for Call of Duty WWII coming next month, there has been new details revealed regarding the five divisions which brings a new approach to the usual create-a-class system found in Call of Duty.
First off, the Armored Division aims to buy their team precious time by laying down offense using bipod-equipped light machinegun which will cut through armoured targets, whilst protecting from enemy explosives, flame units and tactical equipment. The Mountain Division meanwhile hides away undetected, as they excel at covert operations. Armed with sniper rifles for distance kills and an arsenal of smoke grenades and mines to make a get away, the Mountain Division could prove to be one of the most effective.
As for the Airbourne Division, this is the one that is usually the first to arrive on the battlefield, by parachuting in guns blazing with suppressed machineguns, looking taking enemy positions as they await reninforcements. The heavily armed Expeditionary Division are prepared for infiltration and combat in close quarters. This Division’s special skill sees incendiary shells loaded into shotguns to wreak havoc upon enemies. Finally, the Infantry Division showcases true marksmanship who are seldom off target, thanks to their specialist training making them a danger no matter the range they are at.
