Call of Duty WW2 is currently suffering from issues with connectivity, following the game’s release a couple of days ago. There has been issues since launch day on Friday, which have continued into the weekend.
This was set to have been fixed by developer Sledgehammer, who announced a brand new update which would see the online servers being fixed. Unfortunately, DownDetector has picked up a number of complaints on social media that has seen several reports from unhappy fans.
Many players have been unable to connect to the shooter, with reports spiking around midday. At first, we saw over 1000 reports coming in from disgruntled players, which prompted a tweet from Activision, which stated: “We’re performing server fixes & will be restarting Call of Duty services to improve the quality of connection. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
Understandably, this has left many fans angry, so hopefully it will be something that Activision can get fixed soon. There are still connection issues at the time of writing this, so hopefully we will see some progress shortly.
Call of Duty WW2 is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The game takes the series back to where it all began in World War 2, and fingers crossed you’ll be back in action in no time.
