The official Call of Duty Twitter has revealed that a 2XP event is currently underway for CoD WW2, and will be lasting throughout the weekend until Monday. The exact time it will run to has yet to be confirmed, as Activision hasn’t stated exactly when, though many have speculated that it will be sometime around noon on Monday.
The first DLC pack is set to release later this month on January 30th, so this could well be the last double XP weekend that CoD WW2. If that is the case, then it will most certainly be worth your while in racking up all the double experience you can get whilst this event is still running.
As for the DLC Pack, this will be entitled The Resistance, and will offer up extra experience to aid you in battle in the likes of the new War Mode mission, Operation Intercept, as well as the new multiplayer maps known as Anthropoid, Occupation, and Valkyrie. There’s also a new Nazi Zombies map to indulge in, known as The Darkest Shore.
Call of Duty: WW2 is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s high time that we saw some new content come to the game after the first three months, with new maps and even a new War Mode mission to take on.
