With the release of Destiny 2, there has been plenty of controversy to say the least. Even prior to the launch on PC, which has suffered from issues itself, we have seen numerous complaints flood in from angry fans that have been varied in there reasons. This has ranged from performance issues, to progression being slowed and a lack of in-game content towards the end of the game, which eventually led to the playerbase plummeting just before the launch on PC.
Because of the backlash received, Bungie has decided that it will be putting off the final live stream that it was set to host in order to address some of the issues that fans have been complaining about. The stream was set to reveal some of the weapons and armor that the Curse of Osiris expansion included. Now however, they will be dealing with more urgent matters at hand to alleviate some of the fans concerns.
This will be done by introducing some of the studio leaders and what they hope to achieve going forward, whilst also showcasing how they are going to react to the feedback from fans and what game updates are coming.
A statement on the official Bungie page reads: “We are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2. You’ll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they’ll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you’ll also learn about how we’re reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks.”
Destiny 2 is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
