Blizzard Entertainment has announced the release of its latest hero, introducing Brigitte to the expansive, growing roster of the popular shooter Overwatch.
The introduction of this latest character surrounds Torbjorn Lindholm, with Brigitte serving as the daughter of the weapons designer. Brigitte’s specialty is armor and defense, in which she throws repair packs which can be used by teammates to heal themselves, either that or for automatically healing nearby allies when using Flail to damage her enemies. The Flail is capable of putting out a wide swing, which can take out several targets at once. There is also a Whip Shot, which is capable of stunning enemies from a distance.
Also, when entering the fray, Barrier Shield offers a personal defense for Brigitte, which can be used whilst she attacks enemies with Shield Bash. As for her ultimate ability, this is known as Rally, and is able to give her a vastly improved short-term boost of speed, whilst providing long-lasting armor to her teammates in the process.
