The physical console versions of Aven Colony has appeared on Amazon, with the opening of the product pages for the game revealing the cover art. The game, set to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, is being published by Team17. Check out the artwork below.
Aven Colony challenges players to build and manage a settlement in an alien world, where you will have to take on deadly creatures, as well as the elements with hazardous environments to traverse and dangerous weather conditions. You’ll be tasked with taking charge of humanity’s first extrasolar settlement on a new alien world, where your small colonies will expand into thriving cities. To confront the alien lifeforms, you’ll need a crack team of pioneers to help aid you to uncover the secrets of Aven Prime in campaign and sandbox modes. This will be no easy challenge either, as you’ll have to survive your surroundings, as harsh winters, electrical storms and much more can take you out in what is a harsh, unforgiving new environment.
Aven Colony is developed by Mothership Entertainment and published by Team17. It is now available in North America on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so if you own either of these systems, be sure to check the game out.
