Two whole years after the game’s release I’m happy to announce that Borderlands 3 crossplay is live for everyone but PlayStation players.
Ah, finally, the time to enjoy endless gun collection with the homies is possible no matter which platform we’re on. Well, PlayStation players are excluded thanks to Sony’s hatred of crossplay. But that doesn’t mean Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, Stadia, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store players can’t enjoy the game together!
SHiFT Matchamking makes this whole thing possible. You just need a Crossplay Display Name and you’re set. However, that’s not all as The Revengence of Revenge of The Cartels event returns for one more round.
Time to shoot Joey Ultraviolet and his gang again for breaking the arm of Saurian pal Maurice. Players can enjoy a new set of themed cosmetic items unlocked via the same Challenges and thresholds from last year.
There’s also the introduction of Endless Seasonal Events, a Level Cap increase, and the True Trials Finale that lasts until June 1st. Go and read up more about all of this in greater detail on their Steam announcement post!
