We recently announced the release of the brand new Boogie Bomb into Fortnite battle royale, though it seems that it has been nerfed by Epic Games already.
The grenade’s duration is set to be reduced from 10 seconds down to five, with further changes to be made going forward. In case you haven’t managed to use it yet, the Boogie Bomb is capable of making players within its radius start dancing uncontrollably, making them an easy target needless to say. In this period, players are unable to shoot nor build, so if you’re hit with it, you’re in deep trouble.

Epic Games stated in a recent forum post: “We’ve gotten a lot of passionate feedback regarding the Boogie Bomb over the last few days and I wanted to give a quick update. As most of you have mentioned, its effect has been a bit stronger than we expected. In the short-term, we’re going to reduce the effect of the dance to five seconds. We don’t think this is going to be a silver bullet, but it should help alleviate some of the frustrations with its current implementation.”
Fortnite is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4, with the famous battle royale mode available for free.
