If you’re coming in late to all of the festivities in Overwatch, then don’t worry, there is a late surprise coming to you.
If you login to the game before January 1st, then you’ll be able to check your stocking for five free loot boxes, courtesy of Blizzard. These would usually set you back £3.99/$4.99, so be sure to take full advantage of the offer whilst it’s still running.
These loot crates contain a number of items from the Winter Wonderland event, featuring a choice of 150 items in total. The best possible prize is arguably the seasonal skins, which are available for heroes such as Ana, Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Roadhog, Soldier 76 and Sombra.
So even if you haven’t managed to indulge in any of the action as of yet, this seems like a perfectly good excuse to get stuck in for the last few days. There are seasonal events to indulge in too, such as the Yeti Brawl which sees five Mei players taking on Winston on Nepal. Keep in mind that this offer only lasts until January 1st, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to reap these pretty neat benefits.
