It’s nice to see that game developers are showing appreciation to the loyal cosplayers that constantly try their hardest to dress up as their favorite character as realistically as possible. If you’re a cosplayer, then you know that it’s not an easy hobby, as certain costumes need a lot of work in order to look as cool as they do. Well, Blizzard has noticed the Overwatch cosplay community and they introduced the Overwatch Payload Tour, which allows us to showcase our creatines in a new way.
The Overwatch Payload Tour’s first stop will be PAX East in North Lobby 5, so if you’re looking for a way to show off the hero that’s hiding deep within you, a special photo experience will help you with just that. Even if you aren’t a cosplayer, it doesn’t matter, the Overwatch Payload Tour will offer quite a lot of awesome Overwatch weapons for you to take a picture within a 360-degree panoramic stage which will be placed in the center of some of the most iconic Overwatch maps. Sounds pretty exciting, doesn’t it? But, it doesn’t end there! Exclusive Overwatch pins will be given to all participants.
The Overwatch Payload Tour will be stopping at the following events: PAX East (April 5–8), E3 (June 12–14), Anime Expo (July 5–8), San Diego Comic-Con (July 19–22), Dragon Con (August 30 – September 3), and New York Comic Con (October 4–7).
