Black Ops 4 Gets More Fixes Via Update
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has been getting played a lot by players, and because of this, it’s been having a lot of issues and bugs exposed. Some are basic ones that developer Treyarch just missed when the game was being tested. But other, well, others are exploits and cheats that some players have been exploiting in order to get ahead in the multiplayer. Thankfully, the team has been working hard to keep things balanced and fixed, and many patches and updates have been released since launch.
And now, Treyarch has released another, and this one is focused on fixing some of the exploits gamers have been taking care of.
“Since yesterday’s update, we’ve addressed issues with looting Death Stashes in Blackout, applying Attachments to the GKS, and some MP matches ending in ‘Game Session No Longer Available,’” Treyarch’s notes said. “Additionally, we’ve made some behind-the-scenes improvements to Black Market progression, and we’ll continue to evaluate progression rates across the board.”
Some of these fixes have been asked for by gamers for a while, so it’s good to see that Treyarch isn’t just keeping on top of things, but trying to fix what players are asking for. Here is the main jist of the patch notes:
Multiplayer
- General
- Addressed an issue that prevented players from earning Contraband Tier progress.
- Addressed an issue that prevented players from earning the proper amount of Contraband Tier progress in round-based games.
- Addressed an issue with some MP matches ending in “Game Session No Longer Available”.
- General stability improvements in the Black Market.
- Create-a-Class
- Addressed an issue with Attachments applying to the GKS.
- Special Issue Equipment
- Resolved an exploit that led to unlimited Seeker shock mines.
Ironically, this and Blackout Mode were the only things to get patched via this update. But, given that the fixes are coming readily and often, we should expect fixes for all the modes over time and based on what happens next in Call of Duty Black Ops 4
